Beautiful photo. This makes me think of the Maori word for the little curled ferns, which is “koru”, and it symbolises new beginnings and growth. I bought a ceramic koru on a trip to New Zealand a few years ago now, at a time in my life when I was at a crossroads and wondering if I were brave enough to put into practice all the “big plans” I had for my life…the koru is still with me, on my fireplace in my home, and reminds me of that time in my life, and that I did see those big plans through. Paid off too 🙂

This reminds me of this great quote for the old master:
“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is to high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.”
