Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” – Lewis Carroll
My robe smells of jasmine this morning, but I have no idea why.
I am drinking Tazo Green Ginger tea out of my favorite puffin mug.
I am homesick for myself, but I think I am slowly returning to normal.
It’s quiet here. I can hear two different clocks ticking. It’s funny how they are ticking all of the time, but I don’t usually hear them.
I sometimes don’t post because I haven’t got a picture to go with it. I think I will take some pictures today.
There are purple crocuses blooming in a fairy ring around the magnolia in our garden. They make me think of magic and how fast time is flying. It’s nearly spring again.
Time for more tea. How are you?
~in silence we see and hear so much…i love morning when all are sleeping and i can soak up the quiet…watch the sunrise and hear life as i usually wouldn’t…beautiful six things for you to embrace on this day…brightest blessings~
“I am homesick for myself, but I think I am slowly returning to normal.” I love this–and know exactly what you mean. Such a good way of putting it. So glad I found your blog!
I often get homesick for myself. What a wonderful phrase.
Well, it’s still wintry here but the sun warms everything up. Fairy ring crocuses – my favorite! Our first things to appear we can snowbells, they are tiny little grass-like plants that flower with little white bell shaped flowers that are incredibly fragrant. I usually cry when I first see them up in my garden, pushing up in the sunny spots in between patches of snow. Nice thoughts, thanks for bringing them up.
I am sitting here with a cup of chai feeling homesick for YOU! I miss you. I have been struggling to stay afloat in the blogging world, but I want you to know that I think about you all the time sweetie. I think I will wander around here a little and see what you have been up to.
Love you xo
Hi Megg!
Your early morning sounds peaceful 🙂
I too, will often not blog, if I don’t have a pic to go with it. Why? Does it make it more interesting? Prettier? I am very visual and love others blogs with loads of pics, especially of themselves…but am still afraid to post something I will later regret…so another day passes and my blog has less on it than I’ld like.
But anyhoo!…back to you …sorry, I digress ( a lot :))… the fairy ring crocuses … how gorgeous! I’ve never seen it before… we have them here, but I’ve never seen them grow in a fairy ring, only mushrooms (toadstools)… can you take a photo? please?… I’ld love to see them 🙂
Thinking of you over the other side of the world!
Luv min
